The 19th PTBH conference was devoted to biogenic amines and related biologically active compounds, with particular emphasis on histamine, its receptors and issues at the intersection of neurobiology, pharmacology, pain, inflammation and translational medicine.

Our distinguished guests, world-famous experts in the above-mentioned issues,
will present the latest scientific achievements in almost all fields of biomedical sciences.

The 12th Polish Society of Biological and Hematological Scientists (PTBH) Conference, held in Łódź on October 23–25, 2008, brought together Polish and international researchers specializing in biogenic amines, histamine, and the design of new compounds with therapeutic potential. The conference program combined basic, experimental, and clinical research, and a highlight was the ceremony of awarding Professor Bruno Mondovi the title of Honorary Member of the PTBH.

“Biogenic Amines and Related Biologically Active Compounds”

The 9th PTBH Conference, organized in Łódź on November 7–9, 2002, gathered a large group of Polish and foreign researchers dealing with histamine, biogenic amines and their role in human physiology and pathology. The conference program covered a wide range of topics—from histamine receptors and synthesis, through the metabolism of amines and polyamines, to the functions of histamine in the central nervous system—and a significant event was the awarding of Professor Madeleine Ennis the title of Honorary Member of the PTBH.
